About
“I am continually in awe of subtleties of nature that surround us. This is the origin of my inspiration: the distant outline of a mountain range, the glistening line at ocean’s edge, the vein’s of a leaf, the topography of land, cloud formations, precious stones, a sunrise…
I work with the finest materials. Hand-blown, antique, dichroic, and leaded beveled glass are brought together in a symphonic fusion of structure and energy… balancing geometric shape and free-flowing line.
My real passion is the interplay of the sun’s rays streaming through the piece. The glass acts as a lens, projecting breathtaking paintings of light. Extraordinary shapes, rainbows, and colorful floating cities of light travel across the room throughout the day, ever-changing with time and season. As night falls and darkness sets in, the panel becomes a reflective iridescent jewel that changes colors when viewed from different angles.
Actually, I find my work to be more interesting outside of itself.”
